Ing. Antwi Boasiako is a Master and Specialist in Energy, Engineering, & Technologies at the BMS Engineering Maintenance Ltd, (a leading engineering and consultancy firm in Ghana). 

He holds Master’s of Science Degree in Information Systems Engineering, and Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Lancaster University and the London Institute of Technology in the United Kingdom respectively, and has further taken higher research studies in Petroleum Engineering to broaden his technical knowledge in Oil and Gas, to join the global network of experts.

Prior to these, Peter acquired Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Accra Technical University, and also obtained Electrical Engineering Technicians Diploma (part II) from the same institution. He majored in Electrical Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution systems, as well as Renewable Energies.

Ing. Antwi Boasiako has accumulated a huge technical expertise through trainings and experiences from work in the UK as a High-Voltage Authorised Engineer and Energy Expert, and became a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), UK – the world’s leading professional society for the engineering and technology community.

He was appointed by the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo in 2021, as the Deputy Director-General of the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET), to bring his rich expertise to bear on the Commission to achieve the goals of his government for TVET education in Ghana as well as to keep the TVET landscape in good order.

Before his appointment by the President of Ghana, Ing. Peter Antwi Boasiako held various high profile positions whilst working with some top international engineering companies such as Skanska plc in the UK, Amec Foster Wheeler plc, Jaguar BS Ltd, Carillion Planned Maintenance Engineering, and many others.
